SETTING POSTSCRIPT AND HP-GL JOB AND WAIT TIMEOUTS

You can use the

ﬁle to change the PostScript and HP-GL job and wait

timeout values. When sent to the printer, your edited version of the

changes the values in the printer, but

while the printer is turned on; if the printer

is turned off or reset the values return to their defaults. To restore your desired

timeout settings, you must send your edited

ﬁle to the printer again.

The CONFIG.PS ﬁle affects printer operation. If the printer is shared on a network,

using this ﬁle may affect the prints requested by other users.

1 Conﬁgure the printer’s port to receive PostScript; see Printing PostScript ﬁles

for instructions.

2 Locate the utility ﬁles on the Phaser 600 printer’s CD-ROM; refer to Installing

the ﬁles for instructions.
