Front Panel
Front panel overview
The printer’s front panel provides you with information about the printer’s
operation, as well as buttons for accessing printer menus. Refer to “Front
panel messages” on page 6-7 for a complete description of the front panel
messages. Refer to the Menu Map later in this chapter for a listing of front
panel submenus and selections.
Status messages, such as Ready, appear on the top line of the display.
Button labels, such as Clean and Menu , appear on the lower line of the
display. To access front panel menus, press the Menu
button.
1. Printer status:
Describes the condition of the printer and actions
required, if any.
2. Menu buttons:
Access to front panel menu selections.
3. Power:
Indicates when the printer is on; blinks when the printer
processes data.
4. Error:
Flashes when the printer detects an error condition, such
when the printer is out of ink.
